As one of the stars of This is Spinal Tap, an iconic mockumentary of the 1980s, Christopher Guest quickly became known for his comedy chops. While he went on to star on Saturday Night Live and in many films, including The Princess Bride, his repeated returns to the faux documentary genre fueled his directorial career, from 1996's Waiting for Guffman to 2016's Mascots. But, his very best work was the 2000 film Best in Show.
