With a staggering 12 Academy Award nominations to his name across various fields, Bradley Cooper is well on his way to becoming his generation's Clint Eastwood or Warren Beatty — a true-blue movie star who transitioned to a successful career in direction. Cooper made his directorial debut with the blockbuster musical drama A Star Is Born; his latest film was the rather low-key comedy-drama Is This Thing On? However, he worked his way up the Hollywood ladder the conventional way, by playing all sorts of roles in movies of all shapes and sizes. Before he blew up thanks to The Hangover, Cooper played supporting roles in the comedy film Wedding Crashers, the television series Alias, and the cult classic Wet Hot American Summer. During this time, Cooper also played a supporting role in a forgotten horror movie that has surprisingly been rediscovered on home video.
