Jason Statham’s latest action hit comes in the form of A Working Man, which is dominating its second streaming service after doubling its budget at the box office. However, long before Statham stepped into the boots of Levon Cade, he starred in a classic action thriller that’s returned to streaming charts nearly 15 years later. Statham stars alongside Tony Goldwyn, Ben Foster, and the late Donald Sutherland in The Mechanic, the 2011 action movie following a hitman who imparts his skills onto an apprentice with a strange connection to one of his former victims. The Mechanic recently began streaming on Paramount+ in America, and the film has wasted no time becoming a streaming success, sitting at #9 on the streamer’s charts.
