The Acolyte is one of the most recent Star Wars series, and is set about 100 years before The Phantom Menace, during the High Republic era. Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae) and his former Padawan Osha (Amandla Stenberg), who’s been working as a mechanic and is estranged from the Jedi, are thrust back together to investigate a series of brutal crimes that suggest a growing threat in the galaxy. The series is only one season long, and still causes passionate discussions among Star Wars fans.
