Fargo makes numerous lists of "best of" shows, from the best anthology series to exciting crime thriller shows; generally it's just a great piece of television. Creator Noah Hawley developed it inspired by the Coen Brothers' 1996 hit movie Fargo, and each season of the show, as thematically different as it is, has something in common with the movie and the other seasons, too.
