Kyrie Irving is probably one of the most skilled basketball players NBA has ever seen. Ever since his debut in the league, ‘Uncle Drew’ has mesmerised the NBA fans with his skillful ball-handling and his insane ability to make tough shots.

But Irving certainly doesn’t get enough credit for his basketball abilities and is rather marred due to other controversies. Kyrie and the media certainly have an icy relationship. In the current NBA season itself, Kyrie was heavily scrutinised for missing seven games due to personal reasons.

The often painted picture, however, can be deceptive. Irving is certainly a gem of a human being, and his latest actions are a testament to the same. Ahead of their clash against the Bulls in Chicago, the 28-year-old made a graceful gesture to a young man. Take a look.

This is not the first time Irving can be seen helping others in the community. He has been pretty active all across his community and time and time again, he has been pretty generous in donating to the underprivileged.

Can Kyrie Irving win his second championship with the Brooklyn Nets?

The 28-year-old is in yet another super-team now with the Brooklyn Nets. Playing alongside Kevin Durant and James Harden, Irving finds himself in a pretty stacked team who have become the favorites to come out of the East.

Kyrie has fit into an off-ball role seamlessly and has let Harden dictate the tempo of the game. ‘Uncle Drew‘, meanwhile, has seen a major outburst in scoring and is having a career year averaging 28.0 points, 6.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game.

His impeccable form comes at a crucial time for the Nets. Given the injury woes to Harden, Irving will be absolutely key for the Nets to compete for the first seed in the Eastern Conference.

This was apparent in the Nets’ most recent win against the Knicks, which saw the 28-year-old absolutely hammering the Knicks and put a 40 point performance. Time and again, the Nets have seen one of their superstars lead them to victories despite being plagued with injuries.

But a worrying factor for this team is that the Big Three has only played seven games together. Can the Nets build some chemistry between Kyrie, Harden and Durant before the postseason? Will Kyrie Irving win his second NBA championship?
