The Los Angeles Kings and Kevin Fiala have come to terms on a seven-year, $55.125 million contract, one day after the scoring winger was acquired in a trade with the Minnesota Wild.
The contract carries a $7.875 million average annual value.
Fiala was due to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The 25-year-old set career-highs with 33 goals and 85 points in 2021-22.
The Kings traded a 2023 first-round pick and top defence prospect Brock Faber to the Wild for Fiala.
