Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan made a shocking announcement to his fans on Saturday. He told that he is taking a break from his continuous touring due to health problems. The 38-year-old comedian shared his condition on Instagram Story by writing "The Health Update". He told that he has been feeling unwell for the last one year, but still kept working because it was necessary to do the show at that time. He said that he has been on tour continuously for the last ten years, which has had a profound effect on his health.

Zakir told that doing 2-3 shows a day, lack of sleep, catching flights early in the morning and irregular eating habits spoiled his health. He said that even though he got a lot of love and blessings from the people, working so hard is not right for his body. He clearly said that he loves performing on stage, but now he is forced to take a break. After ignoring this problem for a year, now he thought that health should be given priority before it is too late. In his words: "I've been touring for the last ten years. Though I'm extremely blessed to receive your love and affection, touring this extensively is not good and very healthy. Trying to satisfy everyone you meet, 2-3 shows in a day, sleepless nights, early morning flight, and of course, no timetable for meals."I've been unwell for a year, but I had to work because it was important to do at that time."

However, Zakir Khan did not disappoint his fans. He told that his new India tour will be "Papa Yaar", but this time he will perform in limited cities only. He said that due to health reasons he will not be able to add more shows and after this tour he will have to take a long break. He also informed that this time there will be no show in Indore, but if people want, they can come to Bhopal and watch his live performance.

The "Papa Yaar" tour will start from October 24 and will run till January 11 next year. During this time Zakir Khan will perform in cities like Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Mangalore. Zakir said that even though this time the tour will be limited, he will try his best to make every show special and memorable. Fans are also now eagerly waiting for his special style of jokes and stories.
