World Snooker Championship qualifying has come down to the final round, with two Judgement Days producing the 16 qualifiers for the Crucible.
There has already been some brilliant action from the English Institute of Sport, with the qualifying field now whittled down to 32 players in Sheffield.
Chang Bingyu has made the first maximum of this year’s World Championship, but the immense quality in the qualifiers was illustrated by him losing a brilliant game to former champion Luca Brecel.
The 23-year-old may be out of the tournament but he is a lot richer having banked a £147,000 bonus for making two maximums in Triple Crown events this season, along with a £10,000 prize for making a max in these qualifiers.
Chang was looking to make his Crucible debut this year and there are still plenty of potential debutants left in the Judgement Day field.
We are guaranteed one as Stan Moody takes on Jiang Jun, with neither having graced snooker’s hallowed ground before.

Antoni Kowalski would be an interesting debutant as he must win his Judgement Day clash with Jamie Jones to maintain his professional status.
