Paige Bueckers is leaving her first WNBA season with some hardware.
The Dallas Wings star was named rookie of the year on Tuesday, just six months after she was the No. 1 pick in the draft.
Bueckers, 23, played and started in 36 games for Dallas, averaging 19.2 points, 5.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per contest.
The Edina, Minn., native and UConn product was also named an all-star in her first year as a professional.
However, the Wings missed the playoffs after slumping to a league-worst 10-34 record.
