Nintendo has a lot of great platformers, while PlayStation has many incredible single-player action-adventure romps, but the one genre that defines Xbox the most is action games. The Xbox Series X|S is undoubtedly the best platform for FPS fans, boasting a plethora of phenomenal titles. The amount of great free shooters on Xbox Game Pass is staggering. However, Xbox also has a long history of incredible action games outside the shooter realm.
