Why I'm Finally Ready to Dive into the Resident Evil Series

I have always wanted to get into the Resident Evil series. I have dabbled in it a little, playing some of Resident Evil 6 - which, I'm told, is the worst one - with my sibling, and Resident Evil 5 even less. However, beyond these more action-packed entries, my experience lies more in watching terrifying gameplay clips on YouTube with my tail tucked between my legs and my hands firmly over my eyes.
