Who Is Leaving & Coming to Days of Our Lives This Week (Sept 1-5)?

Curious to know who’s leaving Days of Our Lives in the week of September 1 to 5? This popular soap opera has continued to showcase interesting storylines and dramatic twists around the lives of the people of Salem City. Furthermore, their stories are interconnected through love, secrets, betrayal, or troubles. However, the soap opera sees many departures throughout its run. Nevertheless, they also frequently add several new characters.

Here are the comings and goings for this week.

List of everyone who is joining and leaving Days of Our Lives’ cast from Sept 1-5

Cary Christopher as Thomas DiMera:

He is the son of Abigail and Chad, who is set to make his return this week. Christopher was recently cast as a guest actor in the upcoming DC series, Green Lantern.

Louis Tomeo as Aaron Greene:

He portrays Tate’s best friend and is also the son of Mr. Greene and Catherina Meleounis Greene. He will be involved in this week’s storyline. His debut on DOOL was in 2024.

Alice Halsey as Rachel:

She’ll be getting more screen time this week. The character is the daughter of Brady Black and Kristen DiMera. Before Halsey took on the role, it was played by Finley Rose Slater from 2021 to 2025. The recast was made to age up the character as the storyline required.

Thaao Penghlis as Tony DiMera:

The character will return this week. This is not the first time Dimera had been out of the role briefly and reappeared. Previously, in June, Penghlis took to Instagram to reveal that he’s out of the storyline for a specific period of time. He mentioned, “Just got word Tony DiMera does not return to DOOL till Friday, June 20th. It’s an interesting story with players I have not dealt with before. But what a game of chess we play. Who could possibly be the victor?” Now, he’ll be back again to reprise his role.

Casey Moss  as JJ Deveraux:

He’s the son of Jack Deveraux and Jennifer Horton. He returns this week.

Other returns also includes: Kennedy Garcia as Felicity Greene and Tina Huang as Melinda Trask.
