
The transfer window may have slammed shut in the Premier League, but that does not mean that deals cannot still be done at the tail end of the summer.
It was a hectic transfer window for Premier League clubs, with a huge amount of business being done across the division.
Top flight clubs in England spent a whopping £3.087bn on players this summer, with champions Liverpool doing the most business.
The Reds forked out an incredible £415m on new signings including Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
Premier League clubs also did a lot of business in terms of sales, with Liverpool bringing in £187m, while Chelsea got rid of players to the tune of £288m.

Bournemouth illustrated how highly their players are rated by receiving £207m in transfer fees, while Arsenal were near the other end of the scale, bringing in just £9m.
With transfer windows still open elsewhere, though, sales could still be made, with Premier League clubs unable to sign any more players (other than free agents) but still able to get rid of them to the likes of Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

When do the Saudi and Turkish transfer windows close?
The markets Premier League clubs will be most optimistic about selling their unwanted players to are the Saudi Pro League and Turkish Super Lig.
The transfer window in Turkey remains open until Friday September 12, while deals can still be done in Saudi Arabia until Tuesday September 23, according to FIFA.
There have been big deals already this summer with these leagues, including Joao Felix heading to Al Nassr from Chelsea, Ederson joining Fenerbahce from Manchester City, while Andre Onana is about to swap Manchester United for Trabzonspor.

Which players could still move?
Some Premier League clubs are still trying to offload players who have no future in their first team plans.
Manchester United are close to completing a deal for Tyrell Malacia to join Turkish side Eyupspor, with the Dutch full-back out of contention under Ruben Amorim.
Chelsea are still trying to achieve yet more sales, with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi unwanted by the club.
Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal but failed to impress and is currently set for months on the sidelines, with Chelsea having no intention of picking him.
Still just 30 years old, the England international has two years left on his contract which is worth £325,000-per-week.
