‘Weapons’ Topples Anthony Mackie’s Forgotten Tim Burton Team-Up at the Domestic Box Office

Few hits at the 2025 box office have been as exciting as director Zach Cregger's horror smash, Weapons. At the time of writing, the surprise dark comedy has earned a global total of $235 million, split between a domestic haul of $135 million and a milestone $100 million from overseas markets. Thanks to hitting the $100 million mark internationally, Weapons has now reached another major milestone, namely becoming one of the 40 highest-grossing horror movies of all time at the international box office.
