It also overtook the lifetime global box office haul of Terminator: Dark Fate, one of the biggest box office bombs of all time. It's a movie that was created specifically for fans of the original, bringing back stars Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger; it wasn't merely blessed by James Cameron, but counted him as a producer.
