Colman Domingo joins Bear Grylls for a high-risk adventure on Running Wild

Domingo embarks on his first skydiving adventure alongside Grylls in a recently released clip of Bear Grylls’ Running Wild. Ahead of their adrenaline-filled adventure, the presenter asks him if he has ever skydived before. To this, Domingo revealed that he had never experienced this before. “What can go wrong? Let’s not go there,” Grylls further joked.

Hopping into the helicopter and reaching the elevation point that would mark their jump, Domingo appeared a bit nervous before diving. He said that they were already high enough and should now start the adventure. Before jumping off, he reassured himself that he would love the thrilling activity. As they dived and their parachutes opened, Domingo quickly stated, “Those are the wilds, man.”

The latest series consists of 8 episodes, each starring different celebrities. It includes Matthew McConaughey, Tiffany Haddish, Machine Gun Kelly, Uma Thurman, Michelle Monaghan, Rhys Darby, and Elizabeth Banks.

Ahead of the premiere, Grylls spoke to FOX Local, revealing how the show takes stars away from the spotlight, leaving them without a support team or phones. He said, “I think people aren’t used to not having their cell phones with them. Often these stars are not used to having no entourage with them.”

“But I think that’s part of the magic of ‘Running Wild.’ You get to see the real people unguarded on their own, talking about the battles of life along the way in their journey,” he elaborated on how the series displays celebrities’ authentic sides.
