Victoria Beckham has spoken out again about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion, and said that she would be open to the idea of creating an ABBA Voyage-style hologram show.

There has been much discussion about a potential Spice Girls comeback in recent years, particularly as 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic British girl group.

The last time all five members performed together publicly was at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012, although they also gave a surprise performance of ‘Stop’ at Posh’s 50th birthday party in 2024.

They also went on a reunion tour in 2019, although Beckham was not a part of that line-up.

Now, Posh Spice has shared that she is open to more Spice Girls announcements, but suggested that an ABBA Voyage-style hologram show could be the way forward.

Speaking to SiriusXM radio, the singer and fashion designer revealed that she and bandmates – Mel B, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Mel C and Emma Bunton – are open to creating their own show inspired by the hit ABBA Voyage shows, which sees digital avatars that look like the members perform their biggest hits.

“I think it would be a great idea,” she said. “The principle of it would be great… We were talking about it at dinner, but we’ll see.”

Voyage passed the one million visitor mark in April 2023, and as of last month, it quadrupled that number. Since it began in 2022, it has contributed over £2.06billion to the UK economy too, staged 1,415 concerts, and seen audiences collectively spend more than 141,500 hours at the show.

As well as Beckham hinting at a hologram show, Mel C (Sporty Spice) has also fanned the flames of a 30th anniversary reunion –  saying that she was “manifesting” a slot at Glastonbury in the near future, revealing last year that all five members “want to do something”, and performing live with Mel B (Scary Spice) last week.

Last year, Mel C said again that she was “optimistic” that the iconic girl group would reunite, and Beckham also got fans talking when she shared a “tempting” desire to do a Spice Girls stadium tour after attending Oasis’ mammoth comeback tour.

As for the other members, Halliwell-Horner teased that “there will be something” with Beckham in the fold in the future, and Mel B that she was “always game” when it came to hitting the road with the group again.

The latter two then seemed to go back on their respective comments, with Scary Spice saying recently that she was certain a reunion is “not happening” and feels like it would be already taking place if it were possible, and Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice) dismissing hopes for a Glastonbury slot in 2024.

Spice Girls aren’t the only artist wanting to follow in the footsteps of ABBA in having a hologram show. At the final show of their farewell tour in Madison Square Garden in December 2023, glam-rock heroes KISS shared that a “new era” would involve live shows where they would be replaced by their digital avatars.

The holograms also debuted at that gig, where they performed ‘God Gave Rock And Roll To You’ after the real band left the stage. Last month, the launch date for their Las Vegas avatar shows was revealed, and it seems like the shows will include “new songs”.
