The U.S. attorney for the Central District of California said Friday that his office has "multiple fraud investigations underway" in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecutor, Bill Essayli, also said in the announcement that he's working with Harmeet Dhillon, U.S. assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, to conduct a comprehensive audit of the state's voter rolls.
