As a social simulation game, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream obviously focuses on the interactions and relationships between the Mii characters on your island. Each Mii has their own little personality, and they will act on their own accord to walk around the island, talk to their neighbors, play games, and decide who they like and who they don't. That doesn't mean you don't have any control over who they are going to fall in love with, though.
