Speaking with Esquire, Tom Holland finally addressed the long-running speculation about his private wedding to Zendaya. Multiple rumors and statements have surfaced regarding the secret ceremony ever since fans spotted Zendaya wearing a sparkler on her left ring finger at the Golden Globes in January 2025.

When asked about the diamond ring, Zendaya’s longtime stylist and friend Law Roach told Access Hollywood in March, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” However, neither Holland nor Zendaya has ever given a definitive answer before, protecting their privacy. Meanwhile, multiple AI-generated photos had reportedly surfaced on the internet, further fuelling rumors about the wedding.

In his most recent cover story for Esquire, Holland has spoken out about the rumors for the first time. The actor even said that AI images led his grandmother to believe that she missed the invite.

When asked whether he had sent any messages to his family members, Holland stated, “No, because they were all there.” Interviewer Henry Wong then said that he did not realize that the wedding had happened. In response, Holland firmly stated, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”

However, Holland did get candid about his relationship with Zendaya. “Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” the actor said.

“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” Holland continued.

The MCU star added, “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever.”
