Many can agree that actor Tom Hardy really started making his name in movies during the early 2010s, when he starred in films like Inceptionand The Dark Knight Rises before taking on famous lead roles in Mad Max: Fury Road and later, Venom. He excels in grittier films, where he shines as characters who are emotionally and psychologically complex and plays them with a magnetic intensity. But before all of that, Hardy was a part of a critically panned 2006 fantasy horror called Minotaur, which, yes, is a bit of a train wreck of a film, but features one of Hardy's early performances that forecasted his rise to stardom. The fact that his performance is one of the film's redeeming factors that pushed it from "just bad" to "so bad it's good" territory is a testament to his budding skill at the time.
