If the events of the last month have taken any kind of toll on Timothée Chalamet, there was no trace of it in his latest Instagram update.

Timothée’s 2026 got off to a flying start, with critical acclaim for his performance in the sports dramedy Marty Supreme and wins at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards.

However, as awards season continued, the Call Me By Your Name star’s  Best Actor frontrunner status began to falter, and in the run-up to the Oscars, he landed himself at the centre of controversy due to dismissive comments he made about the artforms of ballet and opera.

Earlier this week, he posted pictures of a recent holiday he took with his partner Kylie Jenner, where he was seen relaxing and having fun in the sunshine.

One snap in his post saw a beaming Timothée relaxing while floating in the sea, while another saw him dancing and laughing while shirtless in the ocean.

While Kylie didn’t appear in any of the Oscar nominee’s pictures and videos, they hold a striking similarity to photos she posted on Instagram on the same day, writing that she was “having the time of my life”.

Kylie and Timothée have been dating since 2023, although in that time, they’ve made only a handful of joint public appearances together.

These have included one especially loved-up display at the US Open, a similarly-amorous appearance at the 2023 Golden Globes and a red carpet appearance at a screening of Marty Supreme, where they made headlines with their matching outfits.

Earlier this year, the New York-born actor gave his girlfriend a shout-out during his win at the Critics’ Choice Awards, referring to Kylie as his “partner of three years”.

“Thank you for our foundation,” he beamed. “I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.”

Kylie subsequently joined Timothée at various stops throughout awards season, including the Golden Globes and Oscars.
