This Forgotten ‘General Hospital’ Spinoff Went off the Rails — and Never Recovered

In the age when soap operas have become less common, it’s almost amusing to remember the days when the genre dominated daytime television. For decades, over-the-top drama, love triangles, and brazen twists made up hours of daily television. Now, only a handful of soaps remain, with ABC’s General Hospital being arguably one of the most influential.
