This Deleted Lord of the Rings Scene Gives the One Ring Even More Backstory

Fewer objects in pop culture are as evil as the One Ring in The Lord of the Rings. It famously has a will of its own and wants only one thing: to return to its master, the Dark Lord Sauron. But very little is known about the nature of its bond with the Dark Lord, only that "much of the strength and will of Sauron passed into that One Ring," as J.R.R. Tolkien describes in The Silmarillion.
