It is true that great movies should offer some form of enlightenment and enrichment through their stories. They should present a thematic focus and depth that enables viewers to leave the film with a refreshed perspective of the world. It is also true that sometimes you just want to have a good time for two hours. While producing a picture that is genuinely exhilarating and fun from start to finish is a challenging task, it is by no means impossible, as these enjoyable, enthralling classics have illustrated.
