The World War II Sleeper Hit Everyone Missed Is Finally Available to Watch on Streaming

The World War II thriller that quietly out-grossed Russell Crowe's Nuremberg at the domestic box office and conquered the PVOD charts for weeks is now available to stream on Peacock. The movie was released domestically at the end of May by Focus Features and will debut theatrically in the United Kingdom and other international territories later this year. It remains to be seen if its availability on digital streaming platforms will impact its overseas box office run at all. In North America, however, the film grossed more than $15 million during its run, overtaking Nuremberg's $14 million haul from 2025. That movie was a major hit internationally as well, eventually grossing around $70 million against a reported budget of $10 million.
