Lucasfilm officially pulled back the curtain on The Mandalorian & Grogufor all to see, and the first trailer confirms what fans have been waiting for: Din Djarin and Grogu are headed to the big screen. The new Star Wars movie, directed and written by Jon Favreau, will hit theaters on May 22, 2026, marking the theatrical debut of everyone’s favorite beskar-wearing bounty hunter and his tiny green apprentice. Pedro Pascal is back as Din Djarin — sometimes under the helmet, sometimes not, but always via voice — while Brendan Wayne handles the in-suit close-up work and Lateef Crowder returns for the stunt sequences. And of course, Grogu plays himself.
