The Greatest Thor Movie of All Time Just Got Overtaken by ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ at Global Box Office

Despite having debuted on PVOD platforms a couple of weeks ago, Universal's Jurassic World Rebirth is still a factor at the global box office. This weekend, the movie passed what will likely be its final milestone. In doing so, Rebirth also overtook the highest-grossing (and most acclaimed) Thor movie ever. Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rebirth is perhaps as committee-driven a movie as possible; it entered pre-production without Edwards, who was hired relatively late into the process. It was said that the studio wanted to maintain creative control over the project, which would likely initiate a new era for the franchise.
