There are very few fantasy films that still feel as close to untouchable as The Fellowship of the Ring. More than two decades later, Peter Jackson’s first Lord of the Rings movie remains the one people go back to when they want that exact feeling of scale, wonder, danger, and homesick beauty. And right now, it’s very clearly finding viewers again. In recent days, the film has been charting across multiple streaming territories including France, Luxembourg, Oman, Morocco, and earlier in the week Latvia, which is a nice reminder that Middle-earth basically never really leaves circulation.
