He remains one of fiction's most reliable heroes, someone who is seemingly incorruptible and dedicated to helping those less fortunate than himself and his merry men. Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood,Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, or Disney's lovable animated fox — all portrayed the legend as a folk hero that anyone should emulate.
