Even after all these years, it is hard not to see Buffy The Vampire Slayer's Spike as the best portrayal of vampires on television. However, the second-best depiction of vampires comes from a relatively obscure show that had a strong four-season run. Since both vampire characters in question are distinct in their own ways, comparing them would be a little unfair. Still, it is worth exploring how they creatively work around vampire tropes to deliver something unique.
