If it can actually live up to the hype, Spider-Man: Brand New Day could end up being one of the best Spider-Man movies of all time. Everything we’ve seen from the movie so far — the deep-cut villains, the eye-popping set-pieces, the mature tone, the introspective narrative, not to mention team-ups with the Punisher and the Hulk — all seems to point to Brand New Day being a worthy successor to No Way Home, and a satisfying comeback for Tom Holland’s webslinger. Now, it just has to stick the landing (but Spidey has super-reflexes, so he’s pretty good at sticking the landing).
