The movie became a cultural phenomenon, competing with the likes of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimerduring the award season and even bagged several Academy Award nominations. The overall success of the feature gave the toy company the idea to bring out one of their iconic heroes and reboot him for the newer generation.
