Taylor Sheridan’s Directorial Debut Crime Thriller Is a Sleeper Hit After Joining New Streamer

Taylor Sheridan will always be known for his work writing shows like Yellowstone and Landman, but shortly before he began working in the world of TV, he made his directorial debut on a contemporary Western that’s finding success on a new streamer. In 2017, Sheridan both wrote and directed Wind River, the cop drama following a wildlife officer who helps an FBI agent investigate a murder on an American Indian reservation. Wind River recently began streaming on Netflix in America, where the film has jumped into the streamer’s top 10, sitting at #7 at the time of writing.
