After making a rare public appearance recently to promote his next project, The Madison, Taylor Sheridan has returned to hiding to continue building his TV empire. While most would point to Yellowstone as the project that helped turn the Western scribe into one of Hollywood’s most prominent and controversial screenwriters, he’s actually been around writing projects that far predate the Kevin Costner-led contemporary series. One of Sheridan’s most famous projects is Wind River, the wintry Western starring Jeremy Renner, whom he would later go on to work with on all five seasons of Mayor of Kingstown. Over the years, Sheridan also penned the script for other famous neo-Westerns, such as Hell or High Water, which stars Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine. He even penned the script for the failed Tom Clancy adaptation starring Michael B. Jordan, Without Remorse.
