What a year it’s been for Taylor Sheridan fans, who have been treated to a pair of Yellowstone spin-offs in addition to a new original Western from the writer. The first two projects to expand the story of the Duttons were Marshals and Dutton Ranch, but the latter has been hailed by fans as a much more Yellowstone-style story, while fans and critics alike have criticized Marshals for being more of a boring CBS procedural than a true Yellowstone offshoot. Paramount has already confirmed that the highly anticipated third year of Lioness is coming this August after a brief hiatus, and Sheridan also has new seasons of Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown expected to be released before the end of this year. Neither has yet to be confirmed for a 2026 launch, but it would be surprising if either was pushed into 2027.
