Superman Deleted Scene Features Unseen Krypto Moment in DCU Movie

A new deleted scene from Superman has been released.

Superman is the DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures blockbuster movie that was released in United States theaters this past July. Written and directed by James Gunn, it stars David Corenswet as the titular superhero, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.

What happens in the Superman deleted scene?

Shared by Collider, the Superman deleted scene sees Edi Gathegi’s Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific on a mission to locate Krypto during the second half of the movie. He finds him tearing apart a pet store and then lures the pup away with treats, only for Krypto to then bite Mr. Terrific’s leg while the two of them are jumping up and down.

Some of this footage was used in a Milk Bone commercial promoting the DCU movie, but that footage didn’t show Krypto biting Mr. Terrific’s leg.

The cast of Superman further includes Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikael Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer.

Superman is now available to stream on HBO Max.
