A Strictly Come Dancing ‘throuple’ has allegedly left the cast of the beleaguered BBC show stunned.
According to Mail Online sources, those taking part in the competition were ‘absolutely shocked’ when the polyamorous relationship was revealed.
The three, who the Mail has not named for legal reasons, have reportedly raised eyebrows backstage and even ‘angered’ some of the stars.
Supposedly, there are fears over what ‘middle England’ might think of the news in light of other more recent scandals.
‘It all came out during a night out, people were absolutely shocked,’ the Mail’s source explained.

‘These are people who have many friends and many connections to Strictly, and while nobody is actually doing anything wrong in the scenario, you can only imagine how it has become the talk of the show.’

The gossip is just the latest in a growing list of problems for Strictly bosses ahead of the new series.
On Friday, August 22, the Metropolitan Police revealed they’d arrested a former star of Strictly Come Dancing in their 30s on suspicion of rape and non-consensual intimate image abuse.
‘This is a joint investigation with Hertfordshire Constabulary, and while the investigation is in its early stages, we urge anyone with any information to come forward to us quoting 8479/22AUG,’ the police statement read.
‘The arrest follows a third-party allegation of sexual and drug-related offences. Enquiries are ongoing.’
According to The Sun on Sunday, the rape victim is receiving support from trained officers.
When contacted for comment, the BBC told Metro: ‘It would not be appropriate to comment on an ongoing police investigation.’
Who's taking part in Strictly 2025?
The investigation will not affect the 2025 show.
Met Police are also investigating claims that a Strictly star abused cocaine. The star is also suspected of drinking while on the show, with junior producers allegedly monitoring the situation.
Strictly Come Dancing 2025 is due to start on 20 September.
Metro has approached the BBC for comment.
