The film is currently slated for release on May 22, and it will premiere in theaters around the world mere weeks after the conclusion of Star Wars’ next Disney+ series. Darth Maul has long been one of Star Wars’ most intriguing characters, dating back to his debut in The Phantom Menace, which is why he’s been in so many projects despite having a relatively small role in the first prequel film.
