The end of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy was already going to be a rough one for fans of the show, but one of its standout stars clearly isn’t planning to go quietly. After Paramount+ and CBS Studios decided the series would end with Season 2, actor Karim Diané responded in a way that felt very on-brand for the conversation around the show: loud, defiant, and fully aware of the people already rooting against it. Instead of backing off, he’s basically promising to lean in harder.
