Stacey Solomon has opened up about her health worries, revealing fears that she might be going through early menopause.
The 35-year-old TV favourite shared her concerns on the latest episode of Stacey & Joe, the couple’s new family reality series, which aired on Tuesday.
Speaking to her sister Jemma, Stacey confessed she’s been struggling with low tolerance levels and constant tiredness despite a full night’s sleep – as well as self-diagnosing herself as a full-time hypochondriac.
‘I think I’m going through the menopause, I’m perimenopausal,’ she told her sibling.
‘I’m so snappy and tired. I wake up tired – I can sleep for eight hours and still feel exhausted. On mum’s side the menopause came early, so we’re more likely to go through it early too.’
Jemma, never one to miss a chance for a cheeky comment, replied: ‘You’ve got to remember you have 18 children, 17 dogs, 45 chickens, you work full-time… you’ve got a busy life.’

Laughing but still worried, Stacey added: ‘If you could test tolerance, mine would be at an all-time low. If I am going through menopause and that’s it – no more children for me – then I think I’ll open an animal sanctuary.’
The Loose Women star later arranged a chat with her physiologist, Dr Olly, joined by husband Joe Swash.
Opening up in the appointment, Stacey said: ‘I feel like I’m drying out. I think my ovaries are pruned and they’ve said goodbye.
‘All my friends on Loose Women talk about it all the time. Some things I can’t relate to – but I do think as I get older, I get more agitated.’
Afterwards, Stacey reflected on her ongoing health worries, explaining they stem from motherhood. ‘My health anxiety started when I had Zach,’ she said.
‘When you have kids you start to recognise your own mortality. Meeting Olly and having that friend who can go down the rabbit hole with you has really helped,’ the presenter added.

Globally, the average age for menopause is between 44 and 53, though perimenopause can begin earlier.
Symptoms range from irregular periods and hot flushes to anxiety, mood swings and fatigue – all of which Stacey admitted she’s been battling.
Her openness on the show highlights how common, but often unspoken, these conversations still are.

Having tied the knot in 2022, Stacey and Joe have been clear they want the show to reflect reality, not a polished TV version of family life.
Stacey has said: ‘We’re not trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle.’
And while the brood already keeps them on their toes, rumours of baby number seven just won’t go away.
An insider recently told The Mirror: ‘No one would be surprised if baby number seven came along.’
‘A baby is never off the table. They’ve both got so much love to give and Joe is the most hands-on dad. They’d have another if the time was right. They’ve even joked about Joe getting a vasectomy – and reversing it!’
