At the end of May, Prime Video kicked off what is shaping up to be a massive year for Spider-Man with the release of its much-anticipated hard-boiled noir series, Spider-Noir. Although it follows a different version of the gritty web-slinger than the one seen in the Spider-Verse films, it still brought Nicolas Cage back into the role of the black-and-white detective as Ben Reilly, who is both haunted by tragedy and burdened with responsibility as 1930s New York's only superhero. The project was a delightfully dark and campy smash hit that immediately had Cage and the rest of the team thinking about Season 2, but fans won't have to wait until that happens for more of the Spider-P.I. Collider can exclusively share a new motion comic trailer for the mobile game Marvel Contest of Champions that introduces Spider-Noir into the fray to kick off the "Summer of Spidey."
