Despite mounting concerns amid multiple long-running Weekly Shonen Jumpseries concluding recently, the manga monolith has stayed the course in churning out new stories all the while. It ultimately results in brutal cancellations for series to which the public hasn't seemed to gravitate, leaving behind a cluster of survivors strong enough to weather years of serialization through to an organic end. Predictably, this results in formulaic stories coming out, and in its heyday, it produced iconic hits including but not limited to the Shonen Big Three. While recent new Shonen Jump series have been good, even great, sometimes a new manga barges in with that extra "wow" factor.
