The Addams Family star Christina Ricci has called out Jimmy Fallon for hosting MMA fighter Conor McGregor on his talk show.

In 2024, a 12-person jury found McGregor guilty of sexual assault in a civil case after Nikita Hand accused him of raping her in a Dublin hotel back in 2018.

He was ordered to pay the equivalent of £206,000 in damages.

Before the civil case, Ireland’s Director of Public Prosecutions decided not to bring criminal charges due to insufficient evidence, the BBC reported.

McGregor denied he assaulted Hand, saying they had “fully consensual sex”. Two later appeals weredismissed.

A gynaecologist and forensic examiner who attended to Hand in a Dublin hospital said during the trial that she was left “shaking and crying” by the incident, and also testified that she had extensive bruising and that he had to remove her “wedged” tampon with forceps.

As a result, Fallon’s interview with McGregor – who is making a UFC return years after the 2024 case – has proven controversial.

Fallon is such a loser and always has been. He’s so inauthentic. Fawns over every guest with his over the top laughter at the dumbest commment. Jimmy how do you plan to explain McGregor to your daughters? How will your wife?

In a recent Instagram story, Ricci made her thoughts on the situation known by reposting another Instagram post which had originally been shared by entrepreneur Adam McRae.

Per CBC, the actor shared the temporary image to her social media which read: “Conor McGregor raped a woman so brutally that the EMT who saw her commented on the severity of her bruising. She also had to have the tampon she was using when he raped her surgically removed, as it had been shoved so far inside her.

’Why the absolute f**k is this piece of human garbage being given a platform on Jimmy Fallon’s show? Shame on you Jimmy.”
