Salma Hayek’s Beloved $554M Movie & More Peacock Releases This Week

Peacock‘s new releases this week (June 1–7, 2026) include Salma Hayek’s beloved 2011 animated film.

Arriving on Peacock on June 1, Puss in Boots is DreamWorks Animation’s origin story set before Shrek 2. The swashbuckling prequel sees Antonio Banderas’ Puss team up with former pal Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the clever thief Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek). Together they pull off a magic-bean heist, hunt the Golden Goose, and work to restore his honor. It grossed over $554 million worldwide.

Additionally, releasing this week on Peacock on June 5, Lorne is a Focus Features documentary exclusive to the platform. The 1-hour 41-minute film goes behind the scenes to explore the life and lasting influence of Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, tracking his path from ambitious young Canadian writer to the architect of a comedy empire.

Furthermore, Peacock is stacking the week with big debuts, starting with the release of Love Island USA Season 8 on June 2. The lineup continues June 3 with the premieres of Password Season 3 and America’s Got Talent Season 21.
