One year after starring in the modest hit The Pope's Exorcist, Russell Crowe appeared in another exorcism-themed horror movie. This one, however, underperformed at the box office and received overwhelmingly negative reviews. It also angered audiences to the point where they gave it a rare D CinemaScore. This is the lowest grade received by any movie on the platform in the last five years, having also been given to Joker: Folie à Deux. Movies that receive poor grades on the polling platform automatically gain notoriety. Some movies wear this as a badge of honor. Look no further than Darren Aronofsky's Mother, whose F grade prompted Paramount to issue a statement in its defense.
