The poster shows Fiennes in his signature blue uniform and white hair, which is likely to be a wig. Holding a white rose, he stands confidently in front of a city line. The text on the poster reads, “Our President Coriolanus Snow: Panem’s No. 1 Peacekeeper.” The image was captured against a brick building, with an industrial gas tank nearby.

Sunrise on the Reaping, the sixth installment in Lionsgate’s Hunger Games franchise, focuses on the 50th Quarter Quell. It follows a young Haymitch Abernathy, portrayed by Joseph Zada, as he emerges as the victor. The film also shows Snow’s rise from Peacekeeper to Gamemaker and eventually to the presidency.

Previously, Donald Sutherland portrayed the older President Snow in four Hunger Games films. Meanwhile, Tom Blyth played a younger Snow in The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Now, Fiennes’ involvement in the prequel offers a new interpretation of the character.

The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on November 20, 2026, with the production currently taking place in Europe. Alongside Fiennes, the cast includes Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner, Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee, and Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, among others. The prequel is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay written by Billy Ray.
