The incident raised worries about commuter safety, and she is rushed to hospital and is currently under observation. She was traveling to Churchgate for a shoot when the tragedy happened. On her Instagram Story, Sharma posted details of the occurrence, informing followers of her hospitalisation.
Painful fall while trying to catch train
Sharma says that she made the decision to go in a saree and tried to catch the train quickly. She said that her choice to leap was driven by panic after her friends were unable to board the train. She landed on her back and was hurt as a result. According to the actor, it was a really difficult incident.

In her Instagram story, Sharma explained: "Yesterday, while going for a shoot at Churchgate, I decided to catch the train wearing a saree. As soon as I boarded the train, its speed increased, and I saw that my friends were unable to board. Out of fear, I jumped and fell on my back, which caused a significant injury to my head (sic)."
Karishma hospitalised with head, back injuries
Sharma reported of back ache, head swelling, and body bruising. She is being watched in the hospital for one day after doctors recommended that she get an MRI to rule out severe brain trauma.
She further shared: "My back is injured, my head is swollen, and there are bruises on my body. Doctors have advised an MRI to check if the head injury is serious. I have been kept under observation for a day. I have been in pain since yesterday, but I am staying strong. Please pray for my speedy recovery and send me your love (sic)."
The actor's close friend shared a message from the hospital, emphasising the shock that Sharma's loved ones were going through.
The friend wrote: "I can't believe this has happened to Karishma. My friend fell from the train. She doesn't remember anything. We found her lying on the ground and brought her here immediately. Doctors are still assessing her condition. Get well soon (sic)."
