Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola has handed in a transfer request following interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, according to reports.

The 23-year-old was a regular for PSG last season and scored 13 goals in all competitions as Luis Enrique’s side won Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

However, Barcola was dropped for the Champions League final against Arsenal with Luis Enrique preferring to start Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in attack.

Earlier this week, reports claimed that both Arsenal and Liverpool have registered their interest in signing Barcola this summer.

Barcola primarily plays on PSG’s left flank and that is the same area Arsenal are looking to strengthen in the summer transfer window.

The Premier League champions have already opened talks to sign another target for that position in Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis.

The 24-year-old, who was crowned Belgian Pro League Player of the Season last month after his impressive season in which he scored 22 goals and registered 29 assists, is valued at €40 million (£34.5m) by Club Brugge.

Barcola, meanwhile, is with France’s squad in Boston ahead of their World Cup opener against Senegal on June 16.
